Said to evoke an Aegean sunset, new restaurant Akti brings the taste of the Mediterranean to Sydney’s sparkling harbour
At SRG, we’ve always believed dining is about more than food. It’s about Sydney — its harbours, its neighbourhoods, its people — and creating places that feel welcoming, lived-in, and unforgettable.
What began in 2000 with Aqua, opened by Bill and Kathleen Drakopoulos, has grown into a family of restaurants that reflect the city we love. More than twenty years later, SRG is still family-run, now led by their four children — Anastasia, Nicola, Daniel, and Perry.
Hospitality, for us, is deeply personal. It’s in the way we welcome you, the care in every detail, and the memories you take with you. This is what drives us, and it’s why we do what we do.
